  • What is the Alcohol Awareness Permit?
    • This permit authorizes the operation of an alcohol awareness program or the certification of instructors who conduct training.
  • Who is required to apply for this permit?
    • Both Alcohol Awareness Program providers and individual instructors must apply for separate permits.
  • What are the fees for this permit?
    • The fee for the program permit is $15.00, and the instructor permit is $5.00 annually.
  • What documentation is required?
    • A program outline, syllabus, testing components, and evidence of instructor qualifications must be submitted with the application.
  • How long is the application process from start to finish?
    • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 3-5 minutes.
    • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
