  • Who can apply for the Direct Delivery Permit?
    • Maryland-based manufacturers (wineries, breweries, and distilleries) who wish to deliver alcoholic beverages directly to consumers.
  • What documentation is required with the application?
    • A copy of the manufacturer’s license and proof of compliance with Maryland Workers’ Compensation laws must be submitted.
  • How long is the permit valid?
    • The permit is valid for one year and must be renewed annually.
  • What is the fee for the permit?
    • The fee for the Direct Delivery Permit is $50.00.
  • How long is the application process from start to finish?
    • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 3-5 minutes.
    • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
