  • Who is eligible for the Non-Resident Brewery Permit?
    • This permit is available to breweries outside Maryland that produce less than 22,500 barrels of their own beer annually.
  • What does this permit allow?
    • It allows non-resident breweries to sell and deliver up to 3,000 barrels of beer annually to Maryland-licensed retailers.
  • What is the fee for this permit?
    • The fee for a Non-Resident Brewery permit is $50.00.
  • What documentation is needed?
    • The applicant must provide federal identification, and if applicable, details of any other alcohol permits held.
  • How long is the application process from start to finish?
    • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 3-5 minutes.
    • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
