  • Who qualifies for a Non-Resident Distillery Permit?
    • Distilleries outside Maryland that produce less than 100,000 gallons of liquor annually are eligible to apply.
  • What does this permit authorize?
    • It authorizes non-resident distilleries to sell and deliver spirits to Maryland-licensed retailers.
  • What is the fee for this permit?
    • The fee is $100.00.
  • How often must the permit be renewed?
    • The permit must be renewed annually by October 31.
  • How long is the application process from start to finish?
    • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 3-5 minutes.
    • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
