  • What is a Private Bulk Sale Permit?
    • This permit allows an individual or business to sell alcoholic beverages in bulk in compliance with Maryland laws.
  • What is the fee for a Private Bulk Sale Permit?
    • The fee is $25.00.
  • What information must be submitted with the application?
    • The applicant must provide an inventory of the alcoholic beverages to be sold, including brand names, bottle sizes, and quantities.
  • How often can I apply for this permit?
    • A maximum of two Private Bulk Sale permits may be obtained in a calendar year.
  • How long is the application process from start to finish?
    • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 1-3 minutes.
    • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
