  • What are the basic requirements to apply?
    • Applicants must submit a completed application, proof of an active tobacco license in their home state, and comply with Maryland’s Workers’ Compensation Laws.
  • What is the annual fee for this license?
    • The annual fee is $25.00, with a $30.00 renewal fee.
  • What tobacco products can be shipped under this license?
    • Only the premium cigars and pipe tobacco identified in the application may be shipped to Maryland consumers.

How long is the application process from start to finish?

  • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 3-5 minutes.
  • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
