Non-profit Festival Permit

  • What is the Non-Profit Festival Permit for?
    • This permit allows non-profit organizations to host festivals promoting Maryland beer, wine, and liquor.
  • How many days can a festival run under this permit?
    • The permit allows the festival to run for a minimum of one day and a maximum of three consecutive days.
  • What are the fee categories for the permit?
    • Fees vary based on product categories:
    • One product category (beer, wine, or liquor): $100.00
    • Two product categories: $150.00
    • Three product categories: $200.00
  • What documentation is required with the application?
    • A copy of the non-profit’s 501(c) determination letter and a list of off-site permit holders participating in the festival must be submitted.
  • How long is the application process from start to finish?
    • An applicant can complete filling out the application form in 3-5 minutes.
    • Upon receipt of the completed application and required payment, the verification and determination on issuing said application may take 10-30 business days.
