As per Alc. Bev. Can. - 1-321(a)(3), The Office of the Comptroller and Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission enter into a memorandum of understanding for cooperative activities in inspections and other enforcement activities relating to the alcohol and tobacco laws of the State.

As per the passage of the Cannabis Reform Act of 2023, the Maryland Cannabis Administration and Alcohol Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission shall enter into a memorandum of understanding that provides that both parties agree to collaborate in order to enforce the provisions of the Cannabis Reform Act with respect to unlicensed cannabis operations in the State.
