Field Enforcement Division

The Field Enforcement Division (FED) is responsible for enforcing compliance with alcohol, tobacco, and laws related to the illegal sale of cannabis and intoxicating THC products across Maryland. With a team of sworn law enforcement officers, the FED conducts inspections, investigations, and enforces regulatory compliance to ensure the safe sale, distribution, and distribution of these products. The division works closely with local liquor boards, health departments, and law enforcement agencies to monitor retail establishments and ensure they are operating within the bounds of state laws.
